This blog has, IMO, some great resources. Unfortunately, some of those resources are becoming less relevant. I'm still blogging, learning tech and helping others...please find me at my new home on http://www.jameschambers.com/.

About Mister James

Cool.  Blogger finally added pages!

I am a developer on the .NET stack.  I have been developing for the web and intranet since 1995 and started programming in 1981 on a Commodore VIC-20.

Several years (and Commodores) later I am a fan of Visual Studio 2010, Windows 7, jQuery, ASP.NET (especially using the MVC Framework), LINQ and the Rx Framework, and technology in general.

I drive a minivan.  I had an iPod, but only because I won it.  I donated it to my children when Windows Phone 7 became available in Canada...which is where I live.

I am a Christian man living in a Christian household.  I value justice over materialism, community over individuality, restoration over relief. I hope that during the short time I spend on this blue marble that I can help to empower the underprivileged and the oppressed.

I am an avid supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. In addition to regular fundraising drives, I am the local Chairperson for the Walk to Cure Juvenile Diabetes and cycled across the country to raise awareness of the disease and funds for research.
